We understand the importance of respect for the private domain and of data protection and we have written this document presenting the rules that we apply to the data which is entrusted to us, defining which categories of staff have access to which information, in which conditions and how we manage it.

Article 1 : Data collected

When you subscribe, we have to ask you for personal information (surname, first name, telephone number, mobile number, email address, etc). This information is held in our databases and is used solely to identify you as the holder of a contract or when you contact our support team.

Article 2 : Protection of our databases

We take all necessary measures to prevent access to data as well as its alteration or disclosure.

Article 3 : Uses of data

Information is treated with the greatest respect and is neither sold nor distributed, for any reason whatsoever. Under no circumstances is it communicated to whoever requests it, except by order of a Swiss court.

We never carry out mailshots for third parties and we never appoint third parties to carry out mailshots for us.

We reserve the right to use data for internal purposes, for the Customer itself during technical incidents concerning it or to announce new updates available and changes to our general conditions, for example.

Article 4 : Processing of data stored by our customers

The server space at the Customer’s disposal is strictly private and no member of NETmanage SA staff is authorised to access it without the express agreement of the customer concerned. If access is needed, the customer must give authorisation, once it has been clearly identified, so that one of our team may deal with it.

Article 5 : Backup of your data

We make backup copies of everything we host on our servers, for obvious reasons of data security. These elements are subject to the exact same rules.

All backups are destroyed after 7 days, including in the case of terminated contracts, either early or at their regular expiry date.

Article 6 : Modification of the privacy policy

This document is subject to modifications over time and the version in application is always available on our website. It can be consulted freely at any time.

Article 7 : Hosting of data

NETmanage SA may ask an external service provider to host its clients’ data. Partners are also subject to our general conditions.
